                              Linear And Angular Velocity

The angular velocity of a particle traveling on a circular path is the        ratio of the angle traversed to the amount of time it takes to traverse       that angle.Angular velocity is a measure of the angular displacement           per unit time.

      formula:
Angular Velocity w of the point are related by the formula :

We define linear velocity, v, to be  where w is angular velocity in radians                           and r is the radius.

Problem 1: (Hazel Dayupay)

A winch of radius of  2 feet is used to lift heavy loads. If the winch makes 8 revolutions every 15 seconds.
Find the speed at which the load is rising.

SOLUTION:
  a.  Angular

b.     Velocity

Problem 2:(Darvi Quema)

A photographed record is turning 45 revolution per minute. If the distance from the center of the record point on the edge of the record is 3 inches,Find the angular velocity and linear velocity of the point per minute.

Solution:
